Report from our Asia-Pacific manager Paal Mathisen.

I was traveling in Vietnam last week together with Jean-Christhophe Le Luet from our local partner VivaBlast Vietnam. After a meeting at VivaBlast in Ho Chi Minh City, we traveled to Hanoi.

Cable cleaning and fire paint application.

The cleaning process was done in two steps:

Using dry ice for cable cleaning before fire coating is applied.

We used dry ice for cable cleaning in addition to high-pressure water.

Dry ice blasting can be used for cable cleaning without damaging active electrical or mechanical parts.

After the cleaning process, we applied FS-5 coating to protect these cables from future damage and at the same time make the cables fireproof.
